Experience

-I have tutored for several respected companies, including the SMU Learning Enhancement Center, where I tutored Calculus, Biology, Chemistry, ESL, Study Skills, and Writing. I also have volunteer tutor experience tutoring refugee children in Dallas, focused on homework assistance and ESL. -I am a nationally registered EMT and have clinical experience to accompany my graduate science education. -I pride myself in being able to explain concepts in ways other people cannot, a talent I attribute to my dual strengths in the humanities and math/science fields. -I have extensive experience with students with LDs and ADHD, having served on the President's Advisory Committee on the Needs of Persons with Disabilities at SMU and as President of a student group on campus dedicated to students with LDs/ADHD. I am currently applying and interviewing for entrance into medical school, which is my long-term goal. I am fascinated by science and health care and enjoy keeping up with the latest scientific advances. In my free time, I enjoy running, yoga, cooking, reading, watching Netflix or football, and teaching my dog new tricks.
