I am a third year student at Southern Methodist University. My major is Applied Mathematics and I minor in Creative Computation and Computer Science. As a tutor, I am quite experienced. Last year, I mentored students at a public school in an underprivileged area in Dallas, Texas. Subjects I enjoy teaching are algebra, calculus, differential equations, geometry, elementary and middle school math, Spanish, and science. Primarily, I am most enthusiastic about higher levels of mathematics, but will help with any variation.When tutoring, I make sure that my students are not ashamed to be struggling with the material they are learning. Once they learn that they can be comfortable with me, it is easy to discover the precise area of difficulty. People are more honest once they become at ease.In my spare time, I like to work out.
